I am often described as a meticulous, driven and friendly individual who enjoys engaging with people. Through this part time job I hope to put my knowledge of science into practice and make new friends and connections along the way. Enjoys coffee, cafe hopping, watches, history and running.

Section Commander (3SG), Singapore Armed Forces

• Completed a 6-month leadership course including 3 months of specialized training in intelligence collection where I developed skills such as leadership, critical thinking, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure. 
• Appointed as a reconnaissance team commander in the 3rd Battalion Singapore Guards after the completion of Guards Conversion Course (GCC), a grueling 1-month leadership course. 
• Responsible for managing my men during trainings through welfare check-ups, conducting and planning of lessons and managing their discipline. Thus, honing communication, interpersonal and empathy skills. 
• Led an independent team of 4 men during missions and exercises, where I planned and executed missions for my team based on the operational requirements.

• Responsible for patient registration and demonstrated good interpersonal skills from interacting with patients 
• Organized the queueing system and managed to reduce waiting time by communicating effectively with teammates

• Final Year Project attachment, crafted a report titled "Development of different fission yeast strains to study the function of flippase and scramblase" 
• Researched on fission yeast by applying relevant laboratory techniques 
• Conducted literature review and crafted a report on literature review and research findings
