As a private tutor, my teaching philosophy revolves around building confidence in my students and instilling in them a love for learning. I believe that every child has the potential to excel, and it is my job to help them reach their full potential.
I present problem-solving in a fun and interactive way, encouraging my students to think outside the box and explore new approaches. I celebrate small wins and use positive reinforcement to motivate my students to continue working hard. With my fine art background, my pedagogical approach is centred on the idea that art can be a powerful tool to help students understand and appreciate math.
My approach involves using visual aids, creative exercises, and artistic techniques to help students visualise mathematical concepts and develop a deeper understanding of math. By integrating art and math, students are able to engage with math in a more enjoyable and accessible way, and are encouraged to think creatively and critically.
My ultimate goal is to empower my students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and to help them develop a lifelong love of learning, and to inspire them to approach math with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
