- Assist captain in preparation on renewing manning license & inspection
- Monitor diesel, engine oil, hydraulic oil and oil spill dispersion to be sufficient onboard
- Monthly inspection on life savings and firefighting equipment
- Ensure all emergency stop button onboard are in working condition
- Assist diver with umbilical hose management
- Ensure their hydraulic power PAC system always working and hydraulic oil always full
- Ensure diving air compressor (HP) filter always clean and maintained.
Special Rescue Battalion - Singapore Civil Defence Force

- To attend on mass fire and mass casualty accident such as building collapse, factory fire.
- To support Dart personnel in rescue mission when needed.
- To back up Hazmat personal to rescue casualty in Chemical Agent (CA) outbreak.
- To de-con (clean) dead / alive casualty that have been contaminated with chemical.
- De-con personal belongings of casualty and finally de-con the incident area.
- Standby on major occasion such as: IISS, F1 Race, National Day, Parliament Talk.
