I was a student who had pursued a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Nanyang Polytechnic. I was first exposed to the service industry through the various part-time jobs I have taken up, which piqued my interest in discovering more about what the industry offers. The job experiences have helped to hone my skills and knowledge about the industry and shaped me into a more confident individual.
My professional experience includes having interned at 2 different hotels for a duration of 6 months each. I have experience being rotated between various departments including the club lounge, front office, operator, and housekeeping department. The most recent job that I had was in the housekeeping department where I took on the role of a Housekeeping Coordinator.
Additionally, I also have experience working several other part-time jobs relevant to the service industry which include the retail and F&B sectors.
In ITE, I graduated with a specialisation in Hospitality Operations. I continued to further my studies at Nanyang Polytechnic in the hotel industry and graduated with a Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma.
