I am an engineer with three decades years of working experience in Civil, Building, Oil & Gas and LNG projects with proficiency in Project / Construction management, Business development, tendering / contract, subcontractor management function and HSE.
I have humbly spent more than two decades in execution and management of energy related projects. Cryogenic storage tanks (Propane, Butane, Ethylene, Ammonia, liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Oxygen), C2 & C3 Spheres, LNG Tanks and LNG Regassification Terminals , standard flat Bottom tanks, pipe fabrication, steel fabrication, plate fabrication and erection.
I had the opportunity to learn and experience the cultures while working in Singapore, Indonesia , Malaysia , Thailand, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, China , Taiwan , Australia and India.
I have the working experience in EPCF contract-based project delivery model. I had the chance to worke with a large group of professionals for large-scale and long-term projects which require skilled labor and fine-tuned project management.
While spending most of the work experience in major EPC companies , I have gained industry experience to adopt myself to any kind of working environment . I have prepare detailed project execution plans for projects through to completion. My project management expertise includes pre-project planning, utilization of work force planning, maximal use of modularization, and accountability to project clients and stakeholders.
And ultimately completing the project and handover to the owner’s satisfaction.
Client : CPC Corporation, Taiwan.
Project: CPC Taichung Phase 3 LNG Tanks Project. Phase 3 LNG Tanks includes engineering , procurement, and construction of two no of 180,000 m3 double domed concrete full containment tanks.
Current position : Site Manager & Responsible Person , Project Construction Manager.
Located at the site, directs and coordinates all on-site activities associated with the completion of a project. In addition to construction supervision, these activities include field administration, procurement, and field engineering.
Supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, finance and accounting services, and craft resource personnel as applicable. Responsible for ensuring development and execution of project plans including automation plan, Environmental, Safety and Health (ES&H) plan, site survey plan, non-manual staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, construction execution plan, and project work rules.

Country: Peoples Republic of China
Project: Hanas Putian LNG Receiving and Regassification Terminal Project. A 6 mtpa (million tons per annum) importing and regassification terminal at Port of Meizhou, Meizhou Bai, Putian, Fujian, China.
Phase 1 includes Two no of 270,000 m3 concrete full containment tanks , LNG unloading jetty with a receiving berth of 217000 m3 capacity of LNG carriers, regassification facility, truck loading bays, etc.
This is the second import LNG terminal under construction in Putian. The first terminal one was constructed in year 2003- 2005 and expanded in few phases. I was involved in the first phase of Fujian LNG terminal.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Company: CB&I / McDermott
Duties and responsibilities of this position include administration and execution of LNG project from start to finish, Client relationship, planning, scheduling, and coordination of multi project disciplines including engineering, procurement, construction, subcontract administration, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
As a Construction Manager, I report to the Project Manager and manage CB&I’s construction and construction related activities for the LNG Tanks. This includes warehousing, material storage and fabrication that occur off site or on site, Civil work, mechanical works, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, painting, insulation, testing etc.
Majority of LNG work strategy in CB&I includes self- execution of construction works at site. But we do have subcontractors executed work in certain countries where self-execution is not permitted. In this case it is Construction manager’s responsibility to manage CB&I’s subcontractor executed work at site. This includes the management of third-party inspections or NDE subcontracts.
LNG Regasification Terminals and Associated Infrastructure.
Directly involved in Commissioning of newly build LNG tanks and associated infrastructure with the overall objective of defining and establishing a pre-commissioning / commissioning and handover execution framework on the project and ensuring the safety, quality, value, timely completion. Develop and implement a detailed and integrated startup process and plan. This includes developing, managing, and executing all commissioning and related activities in conformance with company policies and procedures, Contracts, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Duties include directing staff and subcontractors and vendors in various functions necessary in their roles to meet all project commissioning objectives.
Duties and responsibilities of position include coordinating, estimating, and documenting bids. Also responsible for planning, pre-qualification, and priced bid submissions.
