Ishuarwin Kaur

I am a Mass Communication undergraduate at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Having graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a diploma of mass communication, I have experienced all aspects of mass communication, including but not limited to, video journalism, written journalism, broadcast, and marketing and public relations. My three best traits are that I am a problem solver, I am always open to feedback, and I work well under pressure.

I am seeking a role which leverages and hones my skill set.

During my internship stint with NTUC club, I was given the task of writing articles, as well as curating posts for two of their social media platforms. I was also to make use of Facebook suite, a platform where we could track our insights as well as manage both Facebook and Instagram platforms at the same time.I have also managed the social media account Sports4U, an account revolving around football games by curating posts, copywriting, as well as editing photographs where necessary.

In addition to the above, I have interned with The Peak, a luxury lifestyle magazine. Through this stint, I was tasked to upload articles via Wordpress, copywrite and craft content - both photographs and videos for their Instagram and LinkedIn platforms, as well as craft my own articles. I made use of SproutSocial to schedule posts and tracked how the respective pages were doing with Google Analytics.

I have graduated after reading Mass Communication at the School of Management and Communication, Republic Polytechnic since April 2019. I am now enrolled in SUSS for a part-time degree in mass communications.

I have had many opportunities to hone my communication and technical skills. This includes being proficient in applications including Adobe Premiere Pro, and LumaFusion, as well as Canva.
