Ivan offers specialized workshops in both Ballet and Contemporary, designed for dancers who want to deepen their technical understanding and artistic expression.

Ivan’s ballet classes focus on refining technique through thoughtful methodologies that help dancers build stronger awareness, alignment, and control. His approach supports dancers in unlocking the why behind the movement, leading to greater clarity and freedom in execution.

Contemporary classes are split into two parts:

Part One explores technique, improvisation, stamina, musicality, and creative exploration. Sessions may include tasks involving musicality, partnering, and individual expression, guiding dancers to engage both physically and emotionally.

Part Two dives into phrase work drawn from Ivan’s choreographic projects and ongoing research. Dancers are encouraged to take risks, expand their movement vocabulary, and find their own voice in motion.

Ivan performed with the Music and Drama Company, followed by an extensive tenure with Singapore Ballet. At Singapore Ballet, he was entrusted with soloist roles in numerous world premieres and repertory works, performing across classical and contemporary platforms. His stage presence, musicality, and nuanced performance style consistently earned him critical recognition.

Today, Ivan continues to shape the dance landscape as a choreographer and educator, working with institutions, commercial clients, and luxury brands to create compelling movement-based experiences. Whether developing new works, directing movement for campaigns, or mentoring the next generation of dancers, Ivan brings a thoughtful, collaborative, and professional approach to every engagement.
