The Department of Radiology provides a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and evidence-based clinical protocols.

• Perform routine and advanced Computed Tomography examinations including non-contrast and contrast-enhanced studies.
• Perform CT Angiography examinations including Brain, Carotid, Pulmonary, Aortic, Peripheral, and Coronary CTA.
• Perform specialized CT examinations including CT Brain Perfusion, Enterography, Dental CT, Stonogram, and Virtual post-processing studies.
• Prepare patients by verifying physician requests, reviewing clinical history, allergies, renal function, and laboratory investigations.
• Educate patients regarding examination procedures and obtain informed consent when required.
• Perform peripheral intravenous cannulation and administer iodinated contrast media according to institutional protocols.
• Monitor patients during and after contrast administration for adverse reactions and initiate emergency response when necessary.
• Assist radiologists during CT-guided interventional procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainages, ablations, and epidural injections.
• Operate Siemens multi-slice CT scanners while optimizing image quality and minimizing radiation exposure.
• Perform advanced CT image reconstruction and post-processing using Siemens syngo.via.
• Generate Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR), Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP), Curved Planar Reconstruction (CPR), and Volume Rendering Technique (VRT) images.
• Upload, verify, archive, and retrieve imaging studies using RIS, PACS, and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and compliance with patient safety goals before every examination.
• Maintain complete documentation of imaging procedures and contrast administration records.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, emergency personnel, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Participate in trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and intensive care imaging services.
• Conduct routine CT quality assurance and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while complying with institutional policies and international healthcare standards.
