I'm a Final Year Student at NUS.
My hobbies include photography and weight training. I have skills in graphic design able to use Photoshop to draw and manipulation of elements. I used this skill as the Vice-Director of Business in NUS Engineering club to design a flagship ‘Vaporwave’ inspired shirt which sold out.
My experience on site and in structural design will allow me to be self-sufficient and work in a team efficiently ensuring that deliverables are met on time and according to standards. During progress tracking I rely on separate resources to check and navigate around site and letting the relevant bodies know of any discrepancies.
I am resourceful using basic programming to streamline my AutoCAD workflow via programming during quantity take off; due to a lack of a numpad and lots of repetition of command lines, I used Auto HotKey to convert my some keys on my keyboard to deliver a command stroke and the right side as a numpad to make faster calculations/inputs onto the excel sheet.
For quantity takeoff of rebars, I cross-referenced with engineering drawings to make an excel sheet which would automatically calculate the mass of rebar used from the inputted dimensions.
I also have experience in inspecting precast concrete and cross-referencing with AutoCAD drawings.
My Final Year Project consists of extensive use of Python to analyse Heatwaves in Singapore. Given a huge daily dataset of 40 years, I apply machine learning, and other data analysis methods to extract results. I am able to use multiple civil related programs which include but not limited to: Revit, Navisworks, STAAD, AutoCAD, Microstation, Roscience, MS Office, Microsoft Projects
