As a senior manager and one of the pioneers who joined the company at its inception, I play a crucial role in shaping and stabilising the structure of the business. I developed standard operating procedures to streamline the daily operations and better assist the teachers in navigating class management. I craft curriculum for our internal enrichment programs and work closely with the teachers to refine the contents from time to time, taking into consideration their real-life enactments and the ever-changing educational needs of students.
Overall, being a significant part of the business’ growth not only taught me the importance of adaptability and strategic planning in navigating operational challenges as a manager, but also the flexibility and openness required as an educator. As the business has flourished, so have I, professionally and personally.
Influenced by my father, who was once a guitarist, I have always loved music, specifically singing since childhood. I actively attended school performances and competitions back then. Being a working adult now does not stop me from pursuing this passion, I still sing at my friends' weddings as an amateur, and I enjoy incorporating musical elements into my day-to-day teaching. All in all, I am very much aspired to continue weaving the threads of music into the fabric of my life and the lives of those around me.
