My passion lies in creative and clear communication in art, writing, teaching, and speaking. My years in tourism, publishing, and education have trained me to curate, adapt, and present information to different audiences with ease. I operate with the principle that people may not remember everything that you say, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Emotional support and freedom to play will facilitate better learning and communication.
I began in journalism and publishing but have moved gradually into history and museum education because I love the arts and humanities, and working with children. In the last five years, I've pursued studies and qualifications in Counselling Psychology--having always loved interacting with people and providing them safe and creative spaces for curiosity and self-expression. It is a privilege now to work in the field of counselling and as I train with more therapeutic tools with Flinders University and Executive Counselling & Training Academy for a Master of Counselling.
Most recently, I completed a postgraduate diploma with the College of Allied Educators in 2022 and completed the 100 counselling hours to qualify for Provisional Membership with SAC.
