I am a fresh graduate from NUS Psychology, and I am highly motivated to work as an Associate Psychologist in a local hospital to gain insight into the Clinical Psychology field and first-hand experience in psychotherapeutic settings.
I interned at a private psychology practice, Mind What Matters, and have been volunteering as a Youth Advocate at Impart Singapore to journey with youths at risk, teaching them distress tolerance skills and connecting them to community resources. I have also been volunteering weekly at the Institute of Mental Health to connect with the service users.
I studied Psychology, with a minor in Business Management, in NUS. I had also recently completed my Honours Thesis on the effects of a brief psychosis-based psychoeducation programme in reducing stigma towards people with mental health difficulties.
