My name is Jiang Jiayu and I am currently doing my intern in stahl's Performance Coating(PC) department. I will be graduating after my internship in Singapore Polytechnic under the Diploma of Chemical Engineering.
Since I had started my internship in March, I am very famaliar with most of the testing machines that PC is currently using. I know that there are some common machines that both PC and LF have to share. Since PC and LF share the room sometme, I am able to observe what they do when I am free. However, I am not famaliar with the Wet End department. z
Apart from Stahl, I had done part-time jobs in restaurant. I had also created an online shop with my friends for selling handmade cocktail. I was in charged of purchasing, advertising and socialising with customers. However, it was time consuming, so I stopped because I have not completed my studies yet.
I am a foreign student from Beijing who move to Singapore 10 years ago. I started with International school for 2 years, then I joined New Town Secondary school to do O Level. After finishing O Level, I went to Jurong Pioneer Junior College. However, my English was not good enough to pass the General Paper in JC. I went to SP after completing the first year in JPJC.
About CCA, I used to be in Singapore Weiqi National Team when I was in Secondary School. I used to be travelling near by countries for competition as I love travelling also. I joined Minds Sports in SP. As my secondary school does not have chess related CCA, my CCA were uniform group (St. John) and librarian there.
Fast learner and like to learn new lab technics and knowledge.
Manage my time well so that I will be finish the project on time.
Good communication skills with colleagues.
Last but not least, I really like the work in Stahl as I love doing lab work. Additionally, I live at Lakeside and Stahl is considered very near to me. I hope that Stahl can get back to me through email or meet me up in the company. I will always be at the PC department.
