I am currently an Information Systems student at Singapore Management University who is eager to explore the field of software engineering. I wish to empower lives and bring a positive impact to the communities.
To satisfy my eagerness to learn, I have always been self-initiative and independent. I take full responsibility of my learning, which is evident from my short stint at Works Pte Ltd as a software development intern, active participation as a technology director of the school’s student body and other extra-curricular activities such as the Goldman Sachs Hackathon, Google Ignite Program, Data Associate Program, all of which are self-sourced initiatives. My efforts were reflected through recognition and appraisal from my internship director where, despite my relative inexperience prior to the internship, I managed to deliver significant value to a production-grade client-facing product through the mentorship of my director.
I have also managed to compete as one of the finalist for the Goldman Sachs Hackathon and even gained academic recognition for the relevant software development coursework.
Throughout the course of my self-development, I manage to pick up a few crucial skills in software development such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, Vue3, Angular, React, HTML, CSS, Flask, AWS and OOP principles. My experiences have honed my analytical and problem-solving skills, and I am eager for more opportunities to grow and learn.
