Joel Loo

Hi, I am Joel, aspiring designer who is eager to learn and grow. I have worked in startups, to government agencies, to private companies and also in consultancy and was hoping to expand my knowledge diving into a more product role. I understand designing around limitations of business and design systems. I am also flexible in working any part of an end-to-end design phase.

Hi, my name is Joel, I am currently a UX designer at Foolproof, a design agency. Currently, I have managed a few of their long term client projects mainly financial services like DBS, and others like Shell etc. working with their design systems to not only solve UIUX issues, but drive decision making, with my most recent project in which i developed an information dashboard for the merchants at DBS. I have worked through multiple experiences from fast-paced start-ups, to private companies like SIA to government in STB and now here learning in an agency.

I graduated in 2015 with a diploma in Business Innovation and Design from Singapore Polytechnic, with an additional Diploma Plus in Business Economics and Mathematics. I then further my study in B.A. in Industrial Design in 2021 at National University of Singapore.
