I am the Chief Operating Officer for International Cancer Specialists where I oversee the operations and business development. Prior to, I was the Head, Group Service Operations with NUHS where I was involved in the NGEMR Go-Live for NUHS. I was also involved in the clinical capacity planning team for the western part of Singapore as well as leading a team within NUHS working with institutional operations lead on the setting up of institutional command centres.
At Regency Specialist Hospital (owned by HMI Singapore) where I was responsible for the overall hospital operations with P&L responsibility as their Chief Operating Officer. Prior I was employed as a Director, Operations & Corporate Affairs with Ang Mo Kio – Thye Hua Kwan Hospital managing roles of the Operations (both service and support), Digital Transformation, Innovation, Service Quality, Procurement, Special Projects, Corporate Communication and Outreach, Corporate Affairs (Legal), Lean Management Projects and Hospital Planning.
My other healthcare experiences included both Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital. With Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, I was managing the roles of inpatient operations, A&E, SOC, Call Centre and MRO. With Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital, I had successfully set up an operational Heart Centre (PHVC) for the Parkway Group.
Prior to the above, I was a General Manager into business operations responsibilities for Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS). In this role, I managed the full P&L responsibilities for business performances of the Airport Division, primarily areas in Pax Services, Apron Handling, Aircraft Interior Handling and Catering. In addition to the above, I was also the Business Continuity Chairman.
