A recent graduate from the NUS department of communications and new media, I seek to begin a career in the media industry and make a positive impact in the creative media space. I have a keen interest in writing and creative media and seek to tell compelling stories through my work. Having obtained two honourable mentions in the Ron Hubbard’s Writers of the Future competition in 2019, I have an inclination for story-driven media content that touches viewers and readers.
In 2022, I interned for MediaCorp Pte. Ltd’s English Audience Team managing Channel 5. From that experience I gained an understanding of handling media analytics and content curation for broadcast media channels.
This involved curation and analytics of both fictional and nonfictional content, sporting events, reality television, and news. I was also involved in the proposal of an e-sports acquisition plan to diversify the OTT media offerings of meWATCH, where I was tasked with deriving the value of e-sports in the local media space.
I am meticulous and detailed in my work. Hence, I always begin problem solving by breaking down the issue at hand into manageable segments, and then seeing which should be tackled first. I believe that learning is an integral part of this process and will always look for opportunities to learn and adapt to the situation at hand to better address the challenge before me.
I value teamwork and cohesion and I work well as part of a team. When called upon, I have led group projects, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns during my schooling years. As I start out in my career, I believe my best attribute is in adapting quickly to my role and contributing to the company as soon as possible.
Interned for MediaCorp Pte. Ltd in 2022 under the English Audience Team managing Channel 5, primarily handling content curation, viewership analysis, and program scheduling.

This included experience with data analytics tools such as Excel and Power-BI to gauge the effectiveness of televised fiction, non-fiction, reality television, and global sporting content.
