I am a research scientist working on the development of molecular biology kits and their validation. During the validation process i test the kit and help in completing the documentations involved in the CE marking and ISO 13485.

I am actively involved in writing the project proposals, reports, scientific papers and power point presentations.

• Writing the project proposal, project reports, power point presentations, CE marking documentation of molecular biology and diagnostic kits.
• Working as a scientist for the product validation and new molecular biology kits development.
• Validation of Hepatitis detection kit, HIV detection kit, column equilibration buffers, 96 well miniprep kit, DNA purification kit, DNA extraction kit from soil and feces, 2 in 1 kit from soil and feces, Viral RNA extraction kit, blood DNA isolation kit, Saliva DNA extraction kit, Soil DNA maxiprep kit and Plasmid DNA isolation kit.
• Currently developing endotoxin free plasmid DNA extraction kit.

• Principal Investigator for the project: Characterization of WM4 microbial consortium and understanding its efficacy on standard food waste degradation.

• Investigator in the Project: Clean Green and Cost Effective pre-treatment of Lignocellulose.
• Co-Principal Investigator for the project: Engineering thermophilic Bacillus coagulans strains for directly fermenting cellulose and hemicellulose to lactic acid for chemical conversion of lactic acid to acrylic acid.
• Co-Principal Investigator for the project: Development of E. coli strain and development of bio-process for the production of Muconic acid.
• Co-Principal Investigator for the project: Engineering thermophilic Bacillus coagulans strains for bioethanol production from lignocellulose sugars for chemical conversion of bio-ethanol to 1,-3-butadiene.
• Investigator in the project: Development of cost efficient separation of lactic acid from EFB fermentation broth.
• Principal Investigator for the project: Mutagenesis of Bacillus coagulans by ARTP mutagenesis.
• Principal Investigator for the project: Successfully completed industrial project with “ADMATERIALS (Exova, Singapore)” to set up “SAAC SINGLASS” accredited microbiology testing lab.
• Principal Investigator for the project: Successfully completed industrial project with “Westcom Solutions Pte Ltd” to develop new microbial consortium for the efficient conversion of food waste to bio-fertilizer and optimization of medium for the growth of microbial consortium. Setting up a new microbiology lab at their premises for the mass production of proliferated microbial consortium.
• Principal Investigator for the project: Large scale production of proliferated WM3.
• Principal Investigator for the project: Developing Microbial Consortia for PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) Degradation.
• Co-PI for the project: Encapsulation of probiotic bacteria using low melting lipids for targeted delivery.
