Kay Yen Lee

Hi! I'm Kay Yen.

Having one major in Computer Science and another in Traditional Engineering, there is no technical skill that I cannot grasp!

Primarily a Front-end Engineer, I am currently working on projects primarily using CSS3, HTML, JS through React, and Firebase for backend matters.

I enjoy working on difficult engineering problems, learning new skills and languages that challenge the way I think.

I have also been a learner of Japanese for 5 years, leading me to create many JP-EN translations of modern-day Japanese media, which can be found on the internet (garnering a total of over 130K views). Some of my translations and coined terms for the episodes translated are used by media websites such as Crunchyroll, and Japankyo.

Currently, I am on exchange in the University of Tokyo, taking a variety of classes across different disciplines. Through some of the advanced Japanese classes, I aspire to further improve my Japanese and Translation skills (as a side hobby).
