I enjoys fixing and assembling intricate micromechanical parts such as medical devices, Hobby toys from Tamiya (Battleships, aircraft carriers, luxury cars..etc. I have always been intrigued by the working mechanism of analog watches, which has brought me to apply for this Job as a watch technician.
With good knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, I am able to read Mechanical specifications and schematics, I am confident that I will be most suited for this Job. My experience as a Production Technician in BioRad Medical and Manufacturing Technician in Applied Materials has given me essential skills for the technician job particularly in repairing and assembling watches.
1.2 Adhere to safety guidelines by following Risk Management / Bizsafe guidelines.
1.3 Re-engineering work for repairs or modification work according to customer revised work order.
1.4 Record and sign off all completed assembled jobs by following IOSM and
ISO9000 practice.
1.5 Perform Quality checks and testings of components ( precision metal stamping parts, turned parts, Plastic Precision components, Cosmetic and aesthetic appearance acceptance for Casing, reflector, etc.
2. Purchasing / Buyer
2.1 Sourcing and Managing Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery.
2.2 Manage vendors and work with them to ensure parts conform to all specifications and clear specific tolerance.
2.3 Perform periodic cost review and reduction programme through technical and business negotiations with vendors.
2.4 Evaluate and assess Vendor performance.
2.5 Integrating purchasing function with R&D, QC, and Logistics/store to manage inventory
