- My role involves frequent travel to fabs throughout Southeast Asia, including TSMC in Taiwan.
- Understand customer defect problems and offer technical support and expertise to address their needs.
- Conducting an on-site preventive maintenance (PM) audit to identify potential issues and recommend improvements to the current PM procedures.
- Introduce our innovative product designed to optimize their PM method, leading to improved cleaning effectiveness. Conduct a live demonstration showcasing its capabilities and provide comprehensive training to ensure utilize it effectively.
- Co-create success metrics, collect pre/post data, present to secure management buy-in success criteria with customer. Collect pre and post data and present to their top Management for buy-off project.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and develop new products
Previous Role: Staff Equipment Engineer in Ams Sensor Singapore Pte Ltd
•Troubleshooting Equipment and Process related issues.
- Manage R&D lot to ensure engineering lot output met.
- Carry out (CIP) Continuous improvement Plan(modification) to achieve higher equipment efficiency(uptime) Planning PM and Major maintenance.
- Implement Equipment control OCAP and FDC OCAP
- Parts Request and Parts Ordering, E-gate pass, send out and receive parts.
- Liaise with local vendors for alternative source on machine spare parts, fabricating machine spare parts instead of OEM parts, to reduce maintenance cost (Cost Saving) & Initiate CIP project.
- Liaise with vendor and supplier on Purchase equipment, tools & materials. Negotiate terms of tool purchase contracts to optimize equipment uptime and performance
- Responsible for all Equipment Engineering support, Equipment down time, Maintenance, Calibration and Upgrading of highly automated equipment’s
- Update daily & monthly Equipment KPI report to Module Director.
- Train new equipment team leader (Engineers, AEs) 5S. • Tool owner for SPTS Omega fxp ICP Etch and Trymax Neo 2422 • Certified RA leader • Cover Manager Role when he on leave
