I've been working in the lifting industry since 2012, started as draughtsman and later promoted to planning and lifting engineer for a well-known crane rental and lifting specialist company which is Tiong Woon Crane and Transport Pte. Ltd. Starting 2019, I was assigned as representative lifting engineer to Shell petrochemical plant at Bukom island. At the present working as on-site Lifting Engineer for Eng Lee Engineering Pte. Ltd., assigned at the LTA contract CR1069 (Road Diversion & Canal Works) which is the part of Cross Island MRT line construction.

Position : Lifting Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage day to day lifting operations.
Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely lifting operation team for lifting activities.
Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client’s requirements.
Review the MSRA for routine lifting activities.
Establish MS for non-routine lifting activities such as PSPC beam launching, Gantry Cranes dismantling, Crawler Cranes assembly and dismantling to apply approval from QPs.
Liaise and advise the RA for non-routine lifting activities to safety team.

Position : Site Engineer (Appointed person for Lifting operation)

Company : Urban Builders Pte. Ltd, (Singapore)

Assigned Project : Integrated Waste Management Facility project @ Tuas (NEA)

Period : April 2021 – June 2021

Responsibilities

Manage day to day lifting operations.

Review and assess project lifting plans for the daily PTW application

Position : Engineer (Planning & Lifting Specialist representative)

Responsibilities

Prepare technical information on ground pressure calculation with various brands and translate them into proper submissions documents
Prepare engineering calculation/ stability documents for various operational assignments
Prepare engineering drawings for lifting, transportation, rigging and marine using AutoCAD program
Prepare method of statement for various operation works like crane erection, dismantling, lifting, transportation and other relevant equipment
Propose the Ad hoc and project based lifting operation and assist to marketing engineer for Singapore inland and client standardization with their technical needs and submissions.
Conduct site survey at client’s workplace as per require
Attend site meeting for technical related discussion as lifting engineer.
Prepare equipment sample to be used in AutoCAD drawings
Ensure all samples are correct and proper illustrations are updated accordingly

Pipe Jacking Machine lowering & retrieving (Small single TBM)
Tunnel Boring Machine for MRTs lowering, installation, dismantling & retrieving
Precast beam launching for MRT tracks
Installation for MRT track launcher
PSPC beam launching for LTA and NEA bridges
PCB dismantling and lifting for LTA (Concrete casting & I-beam Link bridge)
Lifting the water tank for HDB
Hoisting and Launching Lift well/casing for HDB Lift upgrading job
Ship and Offshore rig module heavy haulage by multi axles heavy transporters (SPMT)
Tower crane erection / dismantling,

Heavy lift planning and engineer in charge for Shell plants at Bukom Island and Jurong Island

Demolishing existing buildings
Transportation, Installation and Retrieving tanks, vessels, exchangers & catalyst columns
