About
Nature of Work - WSHO
- Carry out WSH compliance inspections.
- Conduct WSH incident and accident investigations.
- Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
- Coordinate WSH programme initiatives.
- Develop and deliver safety briefings.
- Carrying out six monthly ConSASS audits
Prevent and protect the work environment from:
- disease-bearing insects and rodents;
- proper disposal of construction waste/ marine clay;
- noise, air and water pollution;
- earth littering;
- siltation of drains;
- food hygiene in canteens;
- proper maintenance of septic tank(s)/ holding tank(s), chemical/ portable toilet(s) and other sanitary facilities;
Experience
Safety Officer - 2 years
Safety Coordinator - 3 years
Education
Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health - Level C
