Mah Jin Zhen

I am a fresh graduate from SIM-UB majoring in psychology. I have found a passion for video editing and I am currently pursuing a career in the media industry as an aspiring professional video editor. I took the opportunity to learn the basics and techniques of editing a video on my own and have applied what I learnt into my own personal projects.

Though not huge, I believe my portfolio is able to showcase my skills and for employers to evaluate them. I have also studied the basics of creating a video in a course in school and I have a basic understanding of the entire production workflow.

I do not have any prior experience in this field, which is why I would want to start working in this industry as an intern, to gain some knowledge and further develop my skills as a start.

I took a 4-month long course in SUSS studying about video and audio production. Through this course, I gained a basic understanding of the entire production workflow, from pre-production to post-production.
