Cisco, Security Officer (Dec 2020 - Sept 2021) Roving officer( Dec 2020- July 2021)---- Duties-------------- Shopping Malls (Capital Malls, Landlease, Asia Malls) Singapore Powers(SP) Commercial Buildings Singapore Management University (SMU) Conduct crowd control Clocking Surveillance Daily checks on panic buttons to ensure good working order Daily checks on the VCA to ensure good working order Fire alarm panel Patrol Mall / office opening & closing Access control checking & monitoring of contractors/ contractor works Conduct bag and vehicle checks Carpark duties (ensuring car park barriers in working order, for fast response to prevent 10 cars queueing within 10 mins, LPG lights working, assisting with those that payment problems; unable to exit car park) Incident report Deployment of duties at sites I have to report to the gathering area near paya lebar 30 mins earlier daily and await for deployment from the office. Deployments are last minute and will be given utmost 1 hour to travel. Its different sites daily with mostly no OJT.
While I learnt alot and developed lots of personal growth, I was then transferred to a permanent site due to the Covid19 restrictions and also the company’s attempt to control spread of the virus in case of an outbreak.
