Aircraft maintenance technician with hands-on experience across defence aviation, commercial aircraft operations, technical records and aircraft ground operations. Currently a Technician I with ST Engineering Defence Engineering supporting CH-47 Chinook helicopter maintenance. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, with previous aviation experience at Rolls-Royce and SIA Engineering Company.
Strong focus on inspection, maintenance procedures, technical documentation, safety and aircraft serviceability.
Technician I - ST Engineering Defence Engineering - Singapore (2025-08) Inspect, maintain and repair the structural and mechanical systems of CH-47 Chinook helicopters, excluding powerplant and engine systems.
- Perform maintenance activities on fuselage structures, landing gear, hydraulic units and flight control systems.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance tasks to identify defects, wear and abnormalities and support timely rectification.
- Carry out maintenance in accordance with approved technical procedures and requirements to support aircraft safety, serviceability and airworthiness.
- Assist senior engineers with critical aircraft maintenance tasks, supporting safe and effective task completion in accordance with approved technical procedures.
- Work with senior technicians and maintenance personnel to complete maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
- Adhere to aviation safety requirements, maintenance procedures and workplace safety practices throughout aircraft maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance work is properly carried out and documented in accordance with applicable technical requirements. Ramp Master - SIA Engineering Company - Singapore (2023 - 2024-06) - Performed Aircraft Docking Guidance System (ADGS) operations and manual aircraft marshaling.
- Conducted bay and aircraft inspections to identify and prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Installed and removed wheel chocks and grounding cables, connected and disconnected tow bars, and delivered ground support equipment.
- Supported aircraft pushback and arrival procedures while adhering to aircraft ground safety requirements.
Officer - SIA Engineering Company - Singapore (2021 - 2022-06) Maintained accurate and up-to-date aircraft technical records, including maintenance logs, repair details and airworthiness directive compliance.
- Ensured aircraft records were maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory and company requirements, supporting efficient maintenance processes and aircraft airworthiness.
- Performed compliance monitoring, data analysis and reporting, and system administration.
Technician - Rolls-Royce — SATU / Fan Blade - Singapore (2018 - 2019-04) Assisted experienced mechanics with aircraft engine inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities under supervision.
- Gained hands-on exposure to aircraft engine components, including defect identification, component replacement and maintenance tasks.
- Supported basic engine inspection, disassembly and assembly, tool usage, troubleshooting and maintenance data recording.
ST Engineering Defence Engineering - Singapore Completed required in-house aircraft maintenance training and qualification prior to performing maintenance tasks on CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
Aircraft Maintenance — Commercial Completed required aircraft maintenance training and qualification prior to performing aircraft maintenance tasks.
