Transcelestial Technologies (Engineering Trainee) (May 2022 - Present)
- Leading the development, testing, and deployment of the Transcelestial Mobile Optical Ground Station (TMOGS) for use in tracking the company’s own space payload on the JANUS-1 satellite which was launched in February 2023.
- Designed and fabricated parts of the TMOGS hardware in-house with various manufacturing methods.
- Improved the onboard software for increased reliability and effectiveness in tracking the space payload.
- Custom-designed flight cases with foam inserts for TMOGS and CENTAURI devices to allow for secure overseas transportation with no damage to the devices.
- Designed and prototyped various parts and equipment to support the company’s research and development efforts, increasing the productivity of the team.
