Rachel Loh

I am a 4th year Sociology student in Nanyang Technological Univeristy. As a Sociology student, I have a strong passion for working with and for people in our society and community. My interest in social issues, patterns of human behaviour, and interpersonal relationships in society motivated me to pursue a degree in Sociology to further expand my knowledge of societal relationships.

I am keen to receive a role where I can share my ideas, learn, and receive feedback to improve as I strive to build my career.

With my adaptability, eagerness, and analytical skills, I believe I will be able to contribute meaningfully to an employer open to providing me with an opportunity to cultivate and hone my abilities. I hope to receive a variety of opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge while also achieving organizational goals for the company.

Recruit Express — Talent Acquisition Specialist (Internship) 

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from pre-screening candidates and managing referrals, to facilitating onboarding and exit interviews.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines and review existing sourcing solutions to ensure the merit-based selection of candidates. 
• Post job advertisements daily on platforms such as Telegram, Job Street and Fast Jobs. 
• Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks.)
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

Fergus Consultancy Group — Partnership Associate Team (Part time Contract)

• Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
• Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits
• Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
• Host and conduct meetings with potential clients to facilitate partnerships
• Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies
• Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization 
• Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
• Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership

Reason for leaving: Contract ended and returned to schooling

I am pursing a degree in Sociology in Nanyang Technological University. I am entering my final year and will graduate in May 2025.
