• Support WSHO and Project Manager in the overall implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the ISO 14000 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety management System.
• Conduct WSH inspection and maintain the inspection records
• Leads the investigation of incidents/Accidents on site, and perform root cause analysis with recommendations on corrective and preventive actions.
• Execute regular WSH Committee Meetings.
• Promotes safety & health awareness on site by means of safety & health promotional program like Mass Tool Box Meetings, safety & health exhibitions and quizzes, Emergency drills etc.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors are briefed on the associated hazards & risk and safe work procedures prior to start work.
• Ensure all plant, machinery and equipment have valid inspection and test certificates by the Approved Examiner.
• Liaises with the authority/agencies like MOM, NEA, MOE etc. on EHS matters and generates professional correspondence.
• Obtain and maintain all the safety documents for the purpose of monitoring on-site safety status.
• Implement Permit-To-Work system for hazardous works on site, and serves as Safety assessors in verifying the hazardous works operated under the approved permit.
