An independent and self-motivated undergraduate looking for a position in the sustainability and energy field where I can utilize the extensive knowledge I have gained during my course of study. I am also a certified green mark associate and water efficiency manager, having took those professional courses to further strengthen my technical expertise in the sustainability field.

Energy Research and Development Intern 

• Nominated as 1 of 4 student to participate in 5 weeks winter internship in Guang Dong, China.
• Assisted in the development of R1234yf refrigerant, a 4th generation refrigerant

Consultant

• Project to assist NXERA, part of Singtel group to reduce Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) in their data centers.
• Targeted 7% reduction in energy usage.
• Awarded Most Promising Leader for demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities.

Energy Sustainability Engineer Intern 

• Conducted Level 3 energy audits to identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) on cooling systems.
• Completed measurement and verification works on chiller plant systems to identify potential savings on site.
• Drafting of savings proposals for semiconductor plants by reducing energy consumption up to 40%.
• Assisted in green mark projects involving shopping centres and office buildings.

Research officer

• Tasked as a research officer in a biotechnology startup based in Singapore, where our mission is to leverage on the strengths of microalgae and mycelium for sustainable protein production.
• Daily tasks include prepare necessary reagents and equipment for daily experiments, conduct and monitor ongoing tests/experiments, report findings and insights directly to CTO.
