I am a highly motivated and adaptable mechanical engineering final year undergraduate student with a strong background in product development, business development, marketing and innovation. I possess a wide range of skills, including mechanical engineering, business development, marketing, innovation, and CAD. I have experience as a founder/CEO of a start-up, where I led a team to develop a virtual help community for NUS students which garnered ~700 members.
My experience in business and product development at Tada Group AB, and my role in digital solutions and innovation at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Asia Pacific, have given me the skills to research, analyze, and develop strategies. I am excited to bring my skills and experience to a new opportunity and grow in a professional setting.
I have a diverse professional experience, including in the medical, construction, edutech and insurance industries. I have worked as a founder/CEO of a start-up, leading a team in developing a virtual help community for NUS students, as well as in business and product development at Tada Group AB. I also have experience in digital solutions and innovation at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Asia Pacific, where I supported the establishment of an innovation center of excellence in Singapore.
Additionally, I have experience in healthcare as a medical services intern, managing clinic operations and working on management and quality improvement projects. I also have experience as a drafter intern at Nam Lee Pressed Metal Industries, using AutoCAD to create engineering drawings for building façades.
I am currently a final year undergraduate at National University of Singapore, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering. I am part of the Engineering Scholars Programme, where students complete their undergraduate studies in 3 years instead of 4, and have a cumulative average point of 4.56/5.00. I have also had the opportunity to study abroad at NUS Overseas College Stockholm.
I have also been actively involved in extracurricular activities such as the Vice-president of Engineering Scholars Student Committee, Captain of my residential college Dodgeball team and Vice-project director for Engineering Freshman Orientation Programme.
