Hi! I am Rye, currently a penultimate undergraduate in Nanyang Technological University, pursuing Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. Beyond my degree, I am some one with an array of interests and passion in different areas, such as engineering, designing, languages, arts, education and more! In my free time, I indulge in hobbies such as music and sports, and actively participate in school and hall activities.
I identify myself as a strong team player with good leadership qualities, coupled with both tangible and soft skills. As someone with strong creative and analytical skills, I am able to think out of the box while having an eye for details. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and always strive to fulfill tasks to my maximum ability no matter how challenging they may be.
As a curious and initiative person, I believe in gaining insights and experience through taken different roles and jobs. Over the years, I have achieved excellent CCA leadership records and external achievements, alongside a good balance of my academic results. I have also taken on different job roles such as a full-time Civil Engineer Design internship, part-time Accounting Assistant, freelance tutor, piano instructor, bilingual translator, graphic designer…… and more!
I look forward to exciting endeavours awaiting me in the future, and I am certain that with the skills equipped, I will be able to contribute to my future workplaces the same way I would love to gain experience from them!
