Samuel Tan

I am Samuel Tan, a UX researcher with 2+ years of experience of leading end-to-end design research using qualitative and quantitative methods. I bring value by solving user problems and helping create common alignment within product teams around the behaviour and needs of users.

I am a UX researcher with 2 to 3 years of experience. My product domain knowledge is anchored in blockchain financial products like NFT, trading, investing, asset-management, payments. I have the capability to deliver agile research across highly technical product verticals. For example, I am well-experienced in conducting usability testing for innovative financial products like fiat-to-crypto payment rails, NFT marketplace, P2P trading etc. As a fluent Business Mandarin speaker, I also have cross cultural experience of working with Chinese stakeholders. When I was at Bybit, I collaborated well with business and product stakeholders based in China. I regularly presented and documented my research findings in Chinese. I also have experience with conducting interviews with Chinese users.
