I am a kind, warm and hard-working teacher who loves to work and interact with pupils. I love to share my expertise with them, find their talent and give them a chance to express themselves through music. As a hard-working teacher, I like challenges and learning new things.
I just finished my PGCE International program at Buckingham University, with Tanglin Trust School as my sponsor. I chose Buckingham University due to the minimum of 10 hours of teaching in a full class setting and lesson observation every week, which are helpful as studying the theory and practicing it will make me a better teacher.
I am fully dedicated to continuously improving myself as a music teacher, as it brings me immense joy. Having been trained by British Kodaly and having attended the 2022 Kodaly training conducted by Prof.
Nemes, I am well-versed in the principles and methods of the Kodaly approach. Moreover, I have been utilizing OrrfSchulwerk materials effectively in my current position at Tanglin Trust School which will be very helpful to build up students' interests and their love of music. With a broad background and an 8 years wealth of experience in Tanglin Trust School, I firmly believe that I can make a positive contribution to your music team by leveraging my expertise in planning, teaching, CCAs and having concerts. With my experience as a skilled piano accompaniment in concerts at Tanglin, I can effortlessly adapt my playing to the students' vivacious pace and prepare all students, regardless of ability, for the concert.
