Sofie Andal

I am a second-year prospective major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and minor in Psychology at Yale-NUS College. I have experience in digital marketing, organization development consulting, and research. I am a storyteller by nature, whether that be through design, data visualization, marketing, or writing, I am passionate about telling compelling stories and communicating them effectively. My research interests economic and gender inequality, and would love to apply my quantitative and qualitative research skills to inform policies. In my free time, I enjoy moving my body in any way I can.

• Collaborates with poets, writers, artists, and historians to conduct qualitative research on the intersections between their lines of work in relation to archival research

• Manages the Saga Residential College Office
• Provides customer service to students, staff, and faculty
• Oversees upkeep of college common spaces
• Organizes college-wide community and wellness events

• Translated and copy edited research on women’s sensitive healthcare from English to Filipino
• Edited and provided voice overs for Tiktok videos for Ease’s Singaporean and Filipino accounts
• Increased following count by 100% and likes by ~1,000,000
