Tianqi Kang

I am currently a university student, studying Events Management at SIMGE, University of Stirling. I have been to many events and was fascinated by how the event management and planning handle the events successfully or handle the failure/risk of the events. I have planned many outings and birthday surprises for my friends and family and the majority of the plans are successful.

I have learned to communicate with customers based on their interests, post captions for upcoming posts on Instagram and Facebook, and analyse data for trends.

I am interested to develop my planning skills further by opening up to many categories such as event hosting, wedding planner, cooperate events and etc. I am always looking forward to meeting and working along with experienced workers.

  • Handling the register: In-Charge of payment from customers, jot down the price of the desserts and ensure that the value earned is the same as the sales made.
  • Carrying heavy supplies
  • Clean up the outlet before closing

  • The joy and challenges in communicating with my colleagues and customers at both the register and the waiting area.
