Experienced professional with a global background in technical operations and project management of vessel newbuilds and upgrades. Proven track record as Technical Superintendent and Site Manager, leading multidisciplinary teams through all phases of engineering, construction, and commissioning. Strong focus on execution, compliance, and shipyard coordination, delivering reliable and high-quality results.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve built a diverse and hands-on career in the offshore and marine industry, working across a wide range of vessel types and complex upgrade projects. My experience spans from operational oversight and dry-docking of offshore units to the management of large-scale modification and newbuild projects on Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIVs), drillships, and FPSOs. I’ve had the privilege of working in several countries including Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, and the UAE, which has helped me develop a strong adaptability and a global perspective on engineering and project management.
In my most recent roles as Site Manager for Fred.
Windcarrier, I led the on-site execution of major crane upgrade projects for Brave Tern and Bold Tern. These projects involved the replacement of 640t cranes with 1600t Huisman cranes, along with significant modifications such as new sponsons, extended accommodations, boom rests, helidecks, and upgraded jacking and mooring systems. I was responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project—from engineering and construction to commissioning and handover—while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with owner and class requirements.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a Project Engineer and Technical Superintendent, where I handled vessel operations, engineering reviews, and site supervision for newbuilds and conversions. I’ve contributed to detailed design development, coordinated with shipyards and subcontractors, and led interface management across engineering, construction, and commissioning. A notable highlight was my role in the construction of the Bollsta Dolphin and Bolette Dolphin drillships at HHI in Korea, where I focused on piping systems, discipline interface coordination, and commissioning coordination.
Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a commitment to quality, technical precision, and teamwork. I enjoy working closely with shipyards, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-specification projects safely and efficiently. With a strong grounding in both technical and operational roles, I bring a comprehensive and pragmatic approach to marine and offshore project execution.
