As a second-year student pursuing a BA Hons in Fashion Media and Industries at LASALLE College of the Arts, I am highly ambitious and enthusiastic about learning. I value new experiences and view constructive criticism as an opportunity for growth. Having moved from India to Singapore, I have adapted quickly to my new environment and have demonstrated my ability to learn and thrive in challenging situations. Overall, I am a dedicated learner with a passion for the fashion industry.

I am currently in my second year of pursuing a BA Hons in Fashion Media and Industries, which focuses on the business aspects of the fashion industry. My coursework includes a variety of subjects such as design skills, creative direction, design studio, fashion entrepreneurship, and more. Additionally, I am learning how to conduct thorough market research and build a fashion brand from the ground up.

Overall, my studies have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of fashion media.

Through my experiences at LASALLE, I have gained invaluable knowledge and skills that have helped shape me as a professional. Not only have I learned new things, but I have also gained work experience that has allowed me to develop my abilities. In particular, I have learned how to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others, while also honing my leadership skills.

Furthermore, my time at LASALLE has taught me how to perform well under pressure, enabling me to thrive in a variety of challenging situations. Overall, I am grateful for the experiences I have had and the skills I have gained at LASALLE, and I am excited to continue to grow and learn in my future endeavours.

In high school, my subjects in Political Science and Psychology sparked my interest in understanding the success of campaigns promoting gender fluidity, women’s rights, and body positivity. Additionally, I excelled in Fine Arts and fashion technology courses, enhancing my technical skills and design thinking abilities. As a member of the school’s Fashion Technology Club, I gained valuable experience in event planning and learned about forecasting and trends.

Now, as a second-year student pursuing a BA Hons in Fashion Media and Industries, I have furthered my knowledge of the market and brand awareness. For my internship, I hope to explore fashion merchandising, visual merchandising, social media, and customer perspectives, studying buying habits and promoting brands through social media.
