I have worked in the Early Intervention sector for the past 9 years. I was recognized for my hard work and passion towards the children and was given the opportunity to progress from assisting classes to leading and conducting my own class 2 years after I joined the company. Throughout my journey as an Early Intervention teacher, I have not only gained experience but have also gained knowledge and mastered many skills such as Behavior management, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and IEPs, to lead and conduct classes, to work in a team, to chair the case-conference meetings and to provide constant support and provide strategies to parents or guardians of the children and also to use the AEPS.
Working in the Early Intervention Sector has fueled my dream and passion to continue making differences in the lives of the children and their families, especially the ones with special needs. I am also looking to progress myself in this area in terms of knowledge and career.
