Wan Ting Tan

I'm Wan Ting, a versatile professional with a background in chemistry and experience as a HR coordinator in HR Shared Services. I'm currently working as an Operations Executive at the dynamic F&B startup, Kakkow.

My diverse experiences have honed my critical thinking skills and adaptability, which have been crucial in navigating fast-paced environments. Recently, I completed a FlexiMasters in General Management at NTU to further enhance my leadership and strategic thinking abilities.

Upon exploring various roles, I have discovered my passion for Human Resources, and I am keen on expanding my knowledge and skill set in other facets of the HR domain.

I was previously doing a traineeship as a HR coordinator at Equinix. I was in the HR shared services department where I managed managed Tier 1 employee lifecycle processes, including promotions, salary adjustments, and transfers. During my time there, I handled a global employee data governance project and streamlined purchase order process for timely payment of background check invoices.

I'm currently an Operations Executive at Kakkow. I made a switch from HR to Operations to explore my interests and to challenge myself as a startup is less structured than an established company. I handle all administrative tasks such as payroll, online orders, and procurement to ensure smooth business operations.

I also lead a small team in the production of chocolate bonbons. At the budding phase of the startup, I established and implemented effective business systems to track inventory, payroll, and monthly revenue, resulting in improved accuracy and efficiency.

I graduated Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. I also recently completed a FlexiMaster in General Management, an advanced course that was taught at Nanyang Business School.
