Operation Executive
I have a Bachelor of Business Degree, with Human Resource Management as a major and Management as a minor from the University of Edith Cowan in Western Australia in 1991. Upon graduation, I returned to Singapore and worked in both the public sector – CPF Board (one year in 'Self-Employed Medisave Scheme') and various commercial private sectors before focusing on my choice of career in international trading, in the Steel Industry. I have more than 30 years of working experiences of International Trading in the Steel Industry, and well versed with International Trading Practices, Letter of Credit (Back to Back LC, Documentation), Trade Financing, Shipping, ERP Operation and other related activities.
From Year 2016 to 2024, I took time off from work to guide my son in his education. However, during that period, I have also kept myself updated on every aspect of the changes in the respective industry. In this period, I took on jobs in MJL (S) Pte.
Ltd. on a project basis. My son completed his GCE A Level in the year 2024, as such I have decided to pursue and contribute in areas that I can with my past working experiences. I enjoy learning and venturing into new areas/ industries, taking up challenges, and resolving problems, whenever they arise.
Currently, I am looking for job opportunities in a company so that I can share and apply what I have learned and achieved from past working experiences. I am a positive person, a team player with a humble personality. I am bilingual in speaking and writing in both English and Chinese Languages.
I look forward to every opportunity that I can achieve, then treasure it, and do my best in it.
