Winny Lam

I am a professional librarian who has experiences in many different types of library: academic, commercial, law, school and public libraries in Singapore. I was also a staff from CVPL in NLB 10 years ago and I was the senior consultant with CVPL. Willing to explore other opportunity and expand my passion to library to other libraries around the world.

I was graduated at Dalhousie University in Canada in 1993. Moved to Singapore in 1999 and engaged with NLB Singapore since then. About 10 years with the institution, I moved to consultancy services in the private arm of NLB, CVPL.

I had a short sting with CVPL for 2 years and it was an eye-opening while I was carrying out a role as senior consultant. In 2001, family decision to make me settle in an international school. It was a wondering time for 12 years and my passion is calling me to explore again and hope to go back to consultancy work as my family commitment has changed.

My child has done his education and now I am ready to my own adventure in the library world.

I have Master of Library and Information Studies, Bachelor of Science (major in Math, statistics, minor in computer science).
