• Maintained full set of accounts and drafted statutory reports for a few investment holding companies in Wilmar.
• Involved in drafting consolidated annual reports for Wilmar, Amphenol, Ascendas, and Mapletree commercial REIT; reviewed reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries, associates, and JVs; prepared monthly consolidated accounts and supporting schedules; prepared monthly consolidated business segment reports and consolidated KPI reports.
• Liaised with internal and external auditors and tax authorities, to ensure annual accounts, income tax are submitted on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.
• Prepared monthly forecasts and PPT slides for Sembcorp; performed insightful financial analysis of funds with Income, properties of Rockworth, and the assigned markets of Sembcorp; involved in three-year planning and annual budgeting of ship chartering division in ASL Marine.
• Worked in financial reporting team of Income and Allianz; involved in preparation of schedules for annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS4 and other relevant SFRSs; involved in preparing quarterly MAS returns with analysis in accordance with MAS requirements; generated monthly management reports together with analysis of financials.
• Worked in IFRS17project in Prudential and Aviva; collaborated with the actuarial team to finalize the accounting policies; worked alongside with the consulting partner and the new CSM tool vendor to rollout the new solution; conducted UAT on ETL; ensured quality of UAT results through appropriate escalation and prompt resolution of findings.
• Worked in implementation of Tagetik (EPM system for consolidation, planning, budgeting, and forecasting) with Sembcorp; engaged in implementation and enhancement of consolidation and group reporting systems in Wilmar.
