I once interned at PingCAP as a Research & Development Engineer for TiDB Cloud, where I made significant contributions to TiCDC, an open-source distributed replication tool for TiDB. My professional experience includes a variety of projects related to distributed systems, operating systems, and distributed databases. For instance, I developed a scalable software architecture for high-performance distributed systems, successfully doubling the system throughput.
I also customized the Linux kernel (v5.40) to support specific functionalities. Furthermore, I implemented a linearizable transactional distributed key-value store utilizing the Multi-Paxos protocol. Please refer to my resume for additional details on these experiences.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Computing at the National University of Singapore, with a focus on distributed systems, networks, and other related fields, maintaining a GPA of 4.61/5.00. I am set to graduate in June 2023. I also once studied at Columbia University in their M.S. in Computer Science program before transferring, taking courses such as Operating Systems, Analysis of Algorithms, and Machine Learning, with a GPA of 3.78/4.00.
Furthermore, I hold a B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology.
