• Proposed revisions to regulatory frameworks for banks, based on analysis of data and qualitative indicators reflecting changes to the financial landscape. 
• Rigorously studied implications of developments in crypto activities on the banking sector, and considered regulatory approaches for mapped scenarios. 
• Oversaw social policies such as loan limits to minimise consumer harm and protect financial stability. 
• Engaged and consulted stakeholders such as banks and public individuals in formulating policies. 

• Led team that represented Singapore at international organisations such as the International Monetary Fund. 
• Led and drove MAS’ cooperation initiatives with foreign central banks and financial regulators, including in financial innovation and sustainable finance. 
• Tracked international financial sector and regulatory developments, analysed risks and implications on MAS, and provided strategies to manage risks.
