My name is Ang Zan Jae. I am 21 years old this year and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Year 1 student. I have been awarded the NUS Business School Dean’s Scholarship for the course of my study.
After I completed serving my National Service at the end of 2022, I worked for five months at UOB’s Parkway Parade bank branch as a Digital Advocate. To undertake this customer-facing role, I had to be well-versed in the “UOB TMRW” mobile application, ATM services and basic banking procedures and products. Additionally, I had the opportunity to interact with customers from all walks of life, including the elderly.
This work experience has allowed me to gain basic banking knowledge, and hone my interpersonal and communication skills.
