Managing Your Email Preferences

BeBee sends several types of emails to keep you informed about jobs, messages, and platform updates. You have full control over which emails you receive and how often you receive them.

How to Access Email Preferences

1. Log in to your BeBee account.
2. Go to Dashboard > Settings.
3. Select the Email Preferences tab.

Email Categories

You can independently control the following categories:

Job Alerts

• Receive emails when new jobs match your profile and saved searches.
• Frequency options: Instant, Daily digest, Weekly digest, or Off.

Notification Emails

• Get notified about activity related to your account:

- Messages -- when someone sends you a new message. - Applications -- updates on jobs you have applied to. - Profile views -- when recruiters or employers view your profile. - Reviews -- when someone leaves a review on your profile or services.

• Each sub-category can be toggled on or off individually.

Newsletter

• Periodic updates about BeBee features, career tips, and industry insights.
• Toggle on or off. Sent no more than once per week.

Marketing Communications

• Occasional emails about promotions, new features, and partner offers.
• Toggle on or off at any time.

Quick Unsubscribe

Every email from BeBee includes an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it will take you directly to your email preferences page with the relevant category pre-selected for easy opt-out.

Recommended Settings

• Active job seekers: Enable Job Alerts (daily or instant) and Application notifications.
• Passive candidates: Use weekly digest for Job Alerts and keep Profile Views on.
• Service providers: Enable notification emails for Messages and Reviews.
• Minimal emails: Turn off everything except Messages so you never miss a direct contact.

Important Notes

• Transactional emails (password resets, security alerts, account confirmations) cannot be disabled. These are required for account security and functionality.
• Changes to your preferences apply within 24 hours.
