Ons Abderrahim

Ons Abderrahim is a 23-year-old Tunisian engineering student.

Her passion, curiosity, and interest in embedded systems, AI, and especially Machine learning led her to choose automation engineering at the National Engineering School of Gabes.

She possesses an unbridled passion for Artificial intelligence with comprehensive knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and an unmatched ability to identify, understand and translate program requirements into sustainable, advanced solutions through Python and MATLAB.

She endured practical experience in Data preprocessing & Data Visualization to obtain critical insights.

She experienced powerful python libraries such as OpenCV, Sklearn, Tensorflow, Keras; Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib & seaborn, nltk and spaCy.

Worked on a computer vision-based, 2-column resume parser to facilitate text extraction and classification with a job matcher.

Built a custom object detection model using YOLOv5, with a

+3500 annotated and preprocessed resume-image dataset.

Extracted text from each cropped resume part using OCR and classified the text with the spaCy python library.

Obtained 86.7% accuracy of the computer vision model, 97%

confidence for the OCR, and 84.8% for the NLP model.
