DevOps Engineer

We're hiring a DevOps Engineer at Datazone .

If any of these sound like you:

• You've written Terraform (or Pulumi, or Helm charts) that someone else had to live with — and it didn't ruin their week
• You know what a StatefulSet is and why running stateful things on Kubernetes is a conversation, not a checkbox
• You've debugged something at 2am and the first thing you asked was "what changed?"
• You can read a Spark UI or a slow DB query and have a rough idea whether it's the code or the box
• You'd rather delete a pipeline than maintain three of them
• You don't mind jumping on a call with a customer's security team when things get technical
• You push back when something doesn't make sense
• You have opinions — and aren't afraid to say them out loud

This role sits between the platform and the places it has to run. We ship into customer environments — their cloud, sometimes their datacentre, usually with a security review attached. You'll own how Datazone gets deployed, upgraded, observed and kept alive across all of them. CI/CD, infrastructure as code, secrets, networking, cost, uptime. Real distributed systems — Spark, ClickHouse, Delta Lake, Kubernetes — under real enterprise load. If you like infrastructure that's invisible when it works, you'll have plenty to do.

A note for ambitious engineers

Datazone is a genuinely broad environment — you'll touch multiple cloud providers, work across different languages and disciplines, use tools that are actually worth knowing. If you want to grow fast across the stack, it's a good place to be.
