Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer to help design and build the backend systems that power Deepinfo's Security Platform. You will build and maintain distributed backend services, APIs, and data-processing systems that handle massive datasets and turn them into real-world security insights.

This is a role for experienced engineers who want to do serious, focused work. We want people who take real ownership of what they build and are all in, not looking for a place to coast. The bar here is mid-level and above. If you are strong and want real impact, we want to hear from you.

Deepinfo is a cybersecurity company built on one of the industry's largest and most detailed domain-data. We turn that data into external attack surface management, cyber threat intelligence, brand risk protection, and third-party risk management products that leading enterprises rely on to find and shut down threats early.

We operate where cybersecurity meets big data. Our platform, data feeds, and APIs process massive datasets in real time and deliver intelligence our customers can act on immediately.

We are a small, focused team (around 15-20 people) in an active scale-up phase. That means real ownership, a short path from decision to production, and direct impact on products used by major enterprises.

🎯 What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain production-ready Python applications that are secure, scalable, and testable. Lead development on backend APIs, data-processing systems, and integration layers.

Take part in the full lifecycle: architecture decisions, planning, development, and deployment. Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment workflows and performance monitoring. Review code, mentor teammates, and help keep engineering standards high. Work with Product and Design to deliver features that match user needs and business priorities. Research new technologies, frameworks, and techniques to improve our backend capabilities.

✅ What We're Looking For

Experience: At least 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python.

Frameworks: Deep experience with Django, Django REST Framework, Flask, or FastAPI.

API Development: Proven ability to build, document, and maintain REST APIs.

Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience with task queues like Celery and distributed job orchestration.

Databases: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and other SQL/NoSQL databases.

Concurrency: Experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, or async architectures.

CI/CD & DevOps: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment workflows.

Software Engineering: Strong foundation in data structures, algorithm design, and software design patterns.

AI-Native Workflow: We use AI tools heavily across engineering, primarily Claude. We expect you to use them to raise your output and quality, not to resist them.

Remote Work Discipline: Highly self-motivated and structured in a remote-first setup.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Language: Comfortable working in English.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Familiarity with DNS, networking protocols, or cybersecurity tools.

Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
